Bob Pfeilsticker was born in Philadelphia in 1953 and grew up in lower Bucks County, Pennsylvania. Bob graduated from Penn State University and received a B.A. in Political Science in 1975. After Penn State, Bob studied law at the Dickinson School of Law in Carlisle, Pennsylvania and received his J.D. degree in 1978.
From 1978 to 1985, Bob served as Division Counsel for Heckett, Division of Harsco Corporation. Heckett is one of the world’s largest steel mill services contractors. As Division Counsel, Bob was responsible for the legal aspects of the company’s domestic and international business activities.
Bob left Heckett in 1985 to pursue his master of laws degree. After receiving his LLM from Georgetown University Law Center in 1987, Bob returned to the Philadelphia area where he entered private practice.
In his more than 40 years of practicing law, Bob has gained comprehensive legal and business experience on a wide range of topics relevant to small businesses and business owners. He brings thoughtful insight to both routine and complex issues in order to achieve positive and lasting results for his clients. Bob also maintains a high level of integrity in his practice while remaining personable and accessible. Most of Bob’s clients have been with him for many years.
Bob’s billing rates are favorable when compared with most other attorneys with comparable experience. There is usually no charge for the initial consultation.
In addition to his business, real estate, and corporate practice, Bob has represented a number of high profile professional athletes and local entertainers and producers, both as their counsel and agent, and he has served on the Executive Committee of the Philadelphia Flower Show.
Bob is admitted to the state bar of Pennsylvania and the U.S. District Courts for the Eastern and Western Districts of Pennsylvania.
Bob has been a member of the American Arbitration Association since 1992 and has served as arbitrator in a wide variety of cases.
